Wheel Alignment vs. Balancing
Wheel alignment has nothing to do with your car but everything to do with the car’s suspension system. It is about the angle and direction your wheels roll along at. Therefore, when we align your wheels, we adjust three main parts of the suspension system.

First, we adjust the toe. It is the angle of the tires in relation to one another. Toe misalignment is common and easy to notice since your car will pull in one direction sharply. Adjusting the toe helps to remedy this.

Secondly, we adjust the camber, which is the wheel’s angle from the front of the vehicle. This misalignment is also easy to notice as your wheel will lean to the side in either direction.

And finally, we adjust the caster, which is the angle of the steering pivot from the side of the vehicle. This misalignment is harder to notice. But if your wheel is too far forward or back in the well, then you need a caster adjustment.

On the other hand, wheel balancing involves balancing a vehicle’s tires to roll smoothly. When one or part of a wheel is heavier or lighter than the other, it causes the wheel to vibrate as it rotates. The vibration increases with speed, and this makes driving difficult.

We use machinery to spin each tire to test the spots that are heavier than others on a wheel. Some spots will always be heavier since they have thicker materials.

We also conduct a combo test, and from here, we can attach small lead weights on the lightest areas to give the wheels balance. The weights can be on one spot or spread to multiple areas depending on your tires. Every wheel is different, so we ensure to get the balance right.
